Hurricane Harvey Help

On Friday, September 15th I (along with Mom, Dad and Wendy) had the opportunity to deliver a load of school supplies to Hull-Daisetta ISD Elementary School. HD Elementary was damaged by flooding from Harvey the week after school started resulting in a large loss and the students and staff being displaced from the school. HD Elementary is currently meeting at the old elementary campus of Hardin ISD.

Thanks to Principal Kevin Frauenberger and Teresa Camp, Director of Student Services, for allowing us to be a part of the recovery of your school. Our hope is that this helps the kids return to as “normal” as possible, as soon as possible. We are praying for your school and community, as well as all those in the area, that have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. With God’s grace and mercy each day will be better.

And a big thank you to Cindy Sims McCarther for identifying this opportunity for us and helping to coordinate the delivery of the supplies.
