Dedication of The Lord’s Kitchen

Today was yet another emotion filled day. Today we were able to dedicate The Lord’s Kitchen in memory of Bennett Royce Sims. So thankful for the incredible legacy that he left behind, and for the lives that will be touched through the generosity that built this kitchen. Through this kitchen, Nduchi Primary School now has the ability to serve lunch to all the children in the school, many of whom will not get another meal each day. Also, due to the feeding program that has been instituted to go along with it, these meals are provided at no cost to the family. The school has also added an additional 100 children since The Lord’s Kitchen became operational, and the fees collected from those additional children helps to fund the schools educational programs. Additionally since The Plans has started pouring love and support into this school the test scores of the students have steadily risen year after year.

Again, so thankful and appreciative of Bennett Sims and his family, and the legacy that will continue to touch lives into the future.
